Making ceramics allows me to channel my creative energy into an object. Concentrating on silhouette, line and surface allows me to express my drive for order, beauty and form. The clay forms I make are minimal yet sophisticated, elegant, spare, almost austere. All of my work is thrown on a pottery wheel with porcelain clay and I make all my glazes and colored porcelains in my studio. I fire in an electric kiln to about 2300 degrees.
