About the work
In this abstract watercolor painting, I wanted to capture a mood in nature that was contemplative and peaceful yet somewhat sulky. Sweeping clouds blanket a drowsy landscape, retreating into nature but pausing to catch one last glimpse of the beautiful surroundings.
