About the work
Lately I have been looking at the world through a different lens. I purchased my Macro lens for wedding ring shots during my wedding photography adventures. I love the contrast of the hard metal of a wedding ring placed delicately among a beautiful plant leaf or flower. At some point, even when the jewelry wasn't part of the photo, I started turning my lens toward flowers and smaller objects. Looking at the world through a macro lens forces me to see things at a level, I didn't notice previously. I used to walk by flowers every day and never really look at the details. Now, I stop and look. You would be amazed at all of the tiny little details.
