I'm happiest when I'm in my studio painting. Lately I've been drawn to the colour and beauty of flowers. I also really love the country shabby chic vibe. With this piece of art, inspiration came from a country style magazine all about cottage garden flowers. I used a variety of yellows, blues & neutrals to create the flowers and vases, keeping them figurative to complement the overall shabby look of the painting.
