The Last Letter mailed in 1907 is collaged with a lumen print of Lampranthus piquetbergensis, an ice plant. The lumen print is created using black and white darkroom photography paper, the ice plant was laid on top of the paper and placed in the sun. The mix of plant juices and humidity along with the sun's rays produce a unpredictable magical image.

byraven erebus

I like to find the magical in ordinary everyday things. Much of my work is inspired by things no further than then end of the driveway, because I suffer from a chronic disability. It's my art that saves me. I have been making art of one form or another my whole life. I have worked in many mediums: photography, collage, bookarts, printmaking, painting, and fabric design.
