About the work
The style of this piece was created by mimicking the look of hand layered screen prints. The detail of the hand drawn swans adds texture to the layered, painterly foliage and florals. I love classic children's illustrations and often create whimsical scenes with animals that inspire a further imaginative narrative. I like to envision a larger story for each piece I make and put the heart and emotion of that story into the picture. I hope you enjoy creating your own story for this sweet scene.
