I've always loved to sew; my mother was a high school home economics teacher and my grandmother a seamstress. I grew up surrounded by textiles brimming with pattern, movement and alluring palettes making my first dress at age 8, my wedding dress at age 25 and taking up quilting more seriously with the birth of each of my 4 sons. This stylish geometric watercolor features a refreshing blend of painterly pastel washes, and bold intricate patterns merged with whimsical foliage.
