About the work
This was my first attempt at a landscape style piece. I love a beautiful horizon in real life, but I could never find a way to translate it in a way that would retain my interest in print. This piece was an effort to create a stylized version of a horizon using the simplest of shapes while still conveying it's depth and mood.
