This abstract landscape suggests nature’s scattered treasures in its contrast of trees, dead wood, background foliage and bare branches. My inspiration comes from nature’s undisciplined clutter. It creates an interesting invitation to discovery and adventure down a hidden path into a distant patch of wildwood on the neglected corner of unseen fields.

I was born in Nashville and transplanted to Texas after I married. Choosing fine art as my major was a wonderful stepping-stone to all the arts. I worked as a graphic artist and book designer in my early years; played the piano; acted in school and Community Theater, and invented board games. I currently teach workshops in experiencing the total freedom of the right brain, using painting techniques. Life is a celebration of variety and exploration and it only gets better with age.
