I often create landscape art, especially mountain landscapes. However with this piece, the image juxtaposes the woods within the animal, rather than the animal within the woods. Focusing on the calm and self assured beauty within. The moose seems presumptuous, often alone, yet graceful, powerful, and superior. It is one creature that always leaves me in awe.

about the artist

byLaura Morris

Provo, UT

I have always loved creative expression and have a passion for great design. I love creating art and graphics and am inspired by so many other artists. I am always looking for ways to develop as a designer. I get excited about creating visual experiences and use many different mediums. Besides creating, I am also compelled to cycle, rock climb, and ski as often as possible, usually with my husband and daughters.
