“Rusty Patina” (acrylic on canvas) is inspired by my love of the beach - the salty sea breeze, golden sand, white sand dollars, golden starfish, and brown speckled seashells, aqua blue water with sea foam bubbles, and little rustic cottages and driftwood on the beach. This painting coordinates with my other paintings entitled, "Ethereal Blue" and "Serenity."

Creating art. Every ounce of my being loves the quiet stillness, that special place where you feel one with the universe, surrounded by the smell of the mediums and the texture and color of the materials. The present moment full of potential and then the magic begins and you create beauty -- leaving a mark in the world that you were once here.
