About the work

The day I photographed this collection, was my longest day of driving on a roadtrip through the Scottish Highlands. With so much to capture it was hard to decide when to stop, but when I saw this centuries old croft amidst the marshy grasses, I knew instantly I had to get out of the car. With this set of photographs, I hope to remember the bounce of the moorish ground beneath my feet and the quiet for miles in every direction, except for the whisper of the crisp air through the grass.
