About the work
Creating tissue paper collages has become my favorite medium to capture the essence of mid-century modern style while balancing playfulness and sophistication through the use of a humble material. In "bird chatter," the converging and overlapping shapes stacked vertically reminded me of an abstract group of birds chit chatting away while sitting along a wire.
