About the work
I am always inspired by the colors, shapes, and textures in nature, so I spent several months painting a series of abstract interpretations of state flowers on canvas. I then digitized the paintings and clipped them into the state's silhouette. Simple white script reading "Home sweet home" and a white background give these prints a clean, modern feel. They are a perfect way to honor your home state, and make a great gift for a wedding, new home, or graduation.
