About the work
I came across these two mustang stallions in the remote Wyoming desert. They were defending their herd of mares and battling for their territory. Their energy and the fierce wildness in their eyes inspired me to take this photograph. It was a simple and beautiful act of nature and I wanted to capture this freedom that they possessed.
