About the work
I love the effect of sunlight; how it can make even the simplest objects feel a little dreamy. I used my favourite mix of loose watercolour washes and simple pencil lines to create a calm, happy, abstract piece, which conveys the feeling of the sun falling on gentle blue flowers.
