Some artists I know best by their signature florals or illustrations or style of lettering, but I can generally spot a Pistols design when I see wonderfully clever copy coupled with the most perfect combination of artwork and type to bring it to life. This card is no exception! The design is simple, yet playful, and an adorable way for a family to share that they received an extra special present for the holidays this year.

Whimsical and bright, “Hap-happiest time” makes us smile from ear to ear. Jen’s simple color palette allows her always-incredible hand-drawn lettering to take center stage, and the mix of styles is unexpected and fun. We love how the stars, dashes, and dots play around the text. Who couldn’t be happy about a design like this?

“A Holiday Note” strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern. Chryssi’s confident use of white space frames the photo and puts it at center stage, while the playful handwritten-style script adds a festive twist. Crafting such a clean design is no easy task, and this holiday card proves that less can truly be more.

I am absolutely swooning over Rachel’s “Evergreen Frame”! The elegant design uses curved pine garlands to create a bountiful frame for the holiday sentiments. White type pops off of the bright red background, and the mix of font styles creates an ideal composition. Perfectly modern – but with a nod to tradition – this card is sure to make a grand statement.
