I like projects that make a big impact but that require very few supplies and can be done while watching everything saved up on your DVR. Take for instance, a wall of love notes for your Valentine. Mushy, gushy love notes.

When I was shopping the valentine selection on Minted, Henry was peeking over my shoulder. We have a thing for monsters and aliens here at casa H+H and pretty much anything NOT PINK for valentines. This cute card seemed like the perfect choice. I had the idea to add something extra to the card and a little white lollipop that looked like an eyeball was dubbed AWESOME by my favorite 6 year old…

Last week a couple of the editors and I were able to attend the design blogging conference, Alt Summit in Salt Lake City where Minted was a sponsor. We got to hear insight from our favorite bloggers, and rub shoulders with some fantastic hot shots like Jessica Alba, Stefan Sagmeister, and Chris Anderson. During the sessions, Minted had gorgeous booth in the lounge area put together by Natasha who heads up PR and Olivia, our DIY editor here on Julep. It showcased some of the new Minted party products and allowed participants to create their own bunting banners. Minted also hosted a dinner for a few of the participants the night before the conference started. A fantastic week all around!
Have a wonderful weekend!

My name is Celisse and I am on the Customer Care Team here at Minted. My passion for and dedication to people is comparable to my boundless passion for style, adventure and curation. I am constantly on the hunt for striking images and inspiration and can’t wait to share them with you.
I was delighted to hear that Pantone had named one of my all-time favorite colors, Emerald, the color of 2013. It goes without saying that this rich hue is destined to work its way onto your color palette and into your magical wedding day. Below you will find just a few carefully curated images inspired by Pantone’s color of the year, Emerald, that bring to life a fantastic tale of love and adventure in marriage.

I often find as January rolls to an end that I miss the beautiful floral wreaths adorning the doors all over my neighborhood during the festive season.
I thought it would be fun to make a wreath I could hang all year through so that visitors to our house are greeted with something bright and cheerful no matter what season it is.
With Valentine’s Day coming up, you could even add some pretty felt hearts too.1 COMMENT

Big Picture Award for the best full bleed photo design
“Boutique” by Laura Condouris
We love a full-bleed photo design with plenty of personality! Laura’s “Boutique” is the perfect marriage between photo and design. Her casual, yet very pretty lettering glides effortlessly across this design, filling the space without detracting from the customer photo behind it.2 COMMENTS
