I’m so into hats right now… actually, I think everyone seems more open to the idea at this moment and the photo of the hat and bowties is stunning! As are the cocktails. I’ve always been a sucker for the classic black and white wedding combo. It’s so sophisticated! I love how this design has such a great vintage feel, but then is also so fresh and modern. And just so you know, if you’re a female completely taken with this design, it can be modified for a traditional marriage by swapping out one of the male hats for a female hat.
Isn’t this invitation so refreshing? It really reflects an easy going, care free wedding, all about the couple and not at all about pretense. Don’t you love orange with gray and white accents together? This is simply modernism at its best. And, yes, I do want to “see it live”!

Do you ever find you just can’t get through your afternoon without venturing to the vending machine for a
Coke? Well then this board and the accompanying invite are for you. There is so much going on here, but yet it just works. Love the rustic lodge combined with the retro chic polka dots and the balloon with a message whimsically floating away. And in case you’re wondering, like I was, that envelope necklace is a real, working, vintage locket… but sadly it already sold.
It simply could not be a more picture perfect day here in San Francisco so I thought Amy’s warm evening wedding was a good choice for this afternoon. I love that she was able to find a photo of perfectly matching lanterns. Have you been to or are you planning a wedding with lanterns? And don’t you love how mint green pops against yellows, oranges, and deep reds?
The inspiration boards we asked our designers to submit along with their invitation designs were spectacular! We plan to launch them permanently on our site soon, but in the meantime I thought it might be fun for us all to ohh and ahh over them together.
I thought this was a fitting first inspiration board to feature–after all it highlights our beloved Minted green! And don’t you just love that glass milk bottle with the tied up cookies? If you end up picking Better Together for your wedding invites you better have cookies and milk instead of cake! I wouldn’t have thought to put green and gray together, but it really works here. Only issue is now I’m really craving a festive afternoon cupcake! Do you like this wedding as much as I do?! Do tell.
We simply could not be more excited about the launch of our first crowd-sourced wedding invitations suites created by the best indie designers in the world. This is a big departure for Minted. Up until now, we’ve only sold letterpressed invitations, which we’ll continue to do, but our new, very competitively priced (starting at just $147 for 50 invitations) flat-printed line will make industry leading design details available to every bride. We feel so honored to be able to help stylish couples everywhere create a wedding suite that really mirrors their special day and is unlike anything their guests have ever seen!
We're giving all of this away!!!
We are rolling out all the stops in celebration of the launch of over 100 of these incredible designs that we are giving away a complete Minted invitation suite for 100 Guests, valued at over one grand. And this isn’t just any wedding invitation suite. Besides the perfectly coordinated reply, information and thank you cards, Minted is the first online retailer to introduce stunning embellishments–like our backers, envelope liners, and skinny wrap address labels–which are all included in this giveaway. In addition to the grand prize, one lucky runner up will also receive 100 free invitations and reply cards!
Minted is the first retailer to offer exclusive, original, flat-printed designs from a carefully chosen handful of established brands, like Cheree Berry Paper, Dauphine Press, and Wiley Valentine. Together our Minted Select brands have decades of wedding suite design experience and have been featured in the full gamut of bridal publications.
Our regular Friday Meet a Mintie feature was held up by a crazy wind storm assailing New Hampshire–think state of emergency wiping out power and internet–but look for it next week… it’s going to be a good one! But we do have something just as exciting to hold you over until then… the launch of our first batch of Minted Love at First Serif wedding invitations. (Not to worry if you don’t see your chosen design here, we’re already hard at work getting the second and final batch up.) I think you’ll agree that they look absolutely incredible!! And they’re just in time for spring brides.

Oh my goodness! Seriously to die for, don’t you think? I just adore the backers. So many good designs… I want to post each and every single one of them! But I won’t so you can go check them out for yourself!
Oftentimes we ask our staff what their favorite design is, but this time I want to ask you regardless if you’re married, single, or engaged: if you were getting married this coming year, of all of our invites currently for sale, which would you choose and why?
