“Classically Stacked” by Ann Gardner
Every once in a while, we see a design that is so classically, simply beautiful that we know it will truly be timeless. Ann’s “Classically Stacked” is just that. Her traditional black and white color palette, minimalist type, and large, neatly stacked names will never go out of style. An instant classic!5 COMMENTS

I was delighted to hear that Pantone had named one of my all-time favorite colors, Emerald, the color of 2013. It goes without saying that this rich hue is destined to work its way onto your color palette and into your magical wedding day. Below you will find just a few carefully curated images inspired by Pantone’s color of the year, Emerald, that bring to life a fantastic tale of love and adventure in marriage.

Rachel’s “Chalkboard” is sophisticated in black and white, while her chalk laurels and florals add a casual, friendly feeling to this wedding invite.
Don’t you just love how bright and bold “Darjeeling” is? We love Annie’s painterly strokes and playful flourishes.
Congratulations, Rachel and Annie!5 COMMENTS
We were thrilled with the beautiful display the gals over at Ruffled came up with. I think you’ll agree that it’s nothing short of awe inspiring!
Their editors picked Twine from all of our new wedding invitations on offer.
It was fun to see how they styled our placecards. A note to brides: our talented customer service team is happy to create placecards to match any invites currently sold on the site. Sidenote: Isn’t it amazing how just one or two peonies in a vase creates such an impact?!
I love the juxtaposition of the uppercase narrow type with the calligrapher’s script.
I can’t get enough of these flowers!!
Another fun idea from the shoot is tying ribbon around invite suites and thank you notes… such a special DIY touch. Thank you so much to Ruffled for showing us just how inspiring a minted invite can be. Check out all the photos from the shoot here.

Earlier this year, Jen Campbell, the incredible tour de force behind Green Wedding Shoes, guest judged our Something Old, Something New wedding invitation challenge. We were hoping to bring in some more designs that reflected various cultures and religions, as well as worked well for destination weddings, and got some amazing entries! Jack and I put together some inspiration boards to go with Jen’s winning pick, as well as some of her other favorites from the challenge–all the quotes are hers. They were so pretty we just can’t help but share them below! The boards were recently posted on Green Wedding Shoes here.
