We are all about keeping it simple when it comes to birthday parties and today we’re sharing this fun fabric party-hat DIY. This project is the perfect way to use up those leftover fabric scraps you’ve been hanging on to! We decided on a neutral color palette of light green, grey, and white, then chose some fun Minted fabrics to match and added a pop of color with bright turquoise ribbon. DIY: Herb-Infused Honey Favors

If you’re hosting a party or gathering this spring—afternoon brunch, Easter luncheon, or even a wedding!—then consider giving guests jars of herb-infused honey as a take-home favor. The idea was inspired by a spring brunch I recently styled that featured the colors and textures of pollen and rose quartz, and these DIY honey jars were the perfect complement to the party. Your guests will be delighted by the fresh, bright notes of the herb-infused honey. Not to mention the fact that they look downright beautiful on the table.

DIY: Swan Headbands

Written by Kathleen Ballos of  Snowdrop & Co

Have you ever seen those plastic swan favors in the wedding section of the craft store? Usually they have cheap-looking painted details and are coated in a shiny finish. Despite all this, I knew they had the potential to be so much more. So, I gave them a little paint job, attached them onto a headband, and voila! A simple and modern accessory to wear this Valentine’s Day.

DIY: Bon Bon Bowls

By Kathleen Ballos of  Snowdrop & Co

I’m the first to admit that my collection of vintage glassware is becoming a problem. I buy all kinds faster than I can do anything with them! Recently I stumbled upon a few sets of milk glass ramekins at the thrift store and of course I had to scoop them up. They’ve been sitting around a while, unused, so I thought they’d be just perfect for today’s project. Fill assorted bowls with candies and wrap them with cellophane to make an even larger candy! Wouldn’t these be great as small gifts or favors for a Valentine’s Day party?
