The joy continued through the third and final day of the Camp Minted 2019 conference in Las Vegas. Minted artists spent their mornings in the remaining workshops and sessions, before gathering in groups to discuss important topics in the community and Minted to wrap up an incredible few days. Take a peek into just a few of our favorite moments from the bittersweet finale below.

Day 3: July 31, 2019

Megan Gonzalez, Director & Founder of MaeMae & Co. guides Minted artists in how to tell a compelling visual story. After, she gave a live demonstration of creating a flat-lay image.

Minted artist Erin McManness of Paper Raven Co. teaches her peers how to digitize their pen and ink drawings and elements to use in Minted submissions.

Between sessions, Minted artists gathered in the Create and Collaborate space to join the Block Art Party hosted by Minted artist Agnes Pierscieniak. Each participant contributed to a communal piece, as well as created their own art.

Left: Also in the Create and Collaborate space, artists arranged Minted products to create their own flat-lay templates for promoting their work on social media. Right: Minted artists test their luck — choosing a raffle basket to toss their name in.

Brady Wood, SVP of Artists & Partnerships at Minted and Easter Kim, Director of Artist Relations celebrate raffle winners as part of the retreat’s wrap-up.

Artists departing Camp Minted described that they were leaving with a renewed sense of confidence and a strong sense of their creative self. “I’m headed back home today feeling so refreshed,” shared Canadian Minted artist Nicole Walsh. “Inspired by all of the wonderful creatives I’ve met, and buzzing with new ideas and goals for the next few weeks, months and years.”
