2018 Religious Photo Card Challenge: Top 11-20 Winners

It’s finally time! We’re thrilled to announce the 11-20th place winners of the Good Tidings Religious Photo Card Challenge. In this challenge, we looked for fresh, unique designs showcasing words of faith and spirituality. From traditional motifs to modern and minimalist interpretations, artists dazzled us with a stunning array of innovative designs. We’re delighted to present the first winning holiday designs of the season!

20. Festive wintry foliage surrounds the lettering in this classic multiphoto design, “Noel,” by Peggy Jackson of Paper Sun Studio.

19. Susan Asbill’s simple, modern font and layout lets the photo shine in her clean, minimalist design “Joyful Song.”

18. Delicate sprigs of pine and holly frame the photo in Karidy Walker’s elegant botanical design, “Evergreen Branches.”

17. Rachel Nanfelt of Alethea and Ruth garnishes her beautiful hand-lettered greeting with snow and evergreen in “Christmas Blessing Branches.”

16. Warm golden text dances across a neutral background in Jennifer Lew’s warm, modern design, “Adoration.”

15. Annie Mertlich of Wildfield Paper Co. showcases her versatile lettering skills in her vintage-inspired yet modern design, “O Holy Night the Stars are Shining.”

14. Lea Delaveris gives her hand-lettered greeting a bold, modern twist in “Lettered Glory.”

13. Fresh winter greenery frames the greeting in Susan Moyal’s elegant design, Love, Faith & Hope.”

12. Alethea and Ruth’s playfully stacked lettering dazzles in her whimsical multi-photo design, “Light and Life Lettering.”

11. Delicate watercolor botanicals create a lush border around the photo in “Wintery Greens” by Leah Bisch.

Kelly Hird is a Community Support Specialist on the Artist Relations Team. She lives in Oakland, California, and in her free time, you’ll find her painting and thrifting.

Olivia Goree is also a Community Support Specialist on the Artist Relations Team. She is the design community’s source of contact regarding file preparation and submission. She is also a member of the Minted community and has a strong passion for handlettering and typography, which can be seen in her work.
