I tend to prefer simple, understated decor for Valentine’s Day. There’s something so sweet about a delicate handmade garland—it can add a nice little festive touch to a plain space. Today we’re sharing how to make this terrifically simple gold-heart garland. We used gold faux leather but any gold paper or fabric would do. Plus, it’s versatile—you could easily reuse this garland anytime you’d like to add a pop of gold to your next party.
• Faux gold leather or gold paper
• Black cord
• Hot glue gun
1. Draw 1-inch hearts on the back of the gold fabric or paper.
2. Cut the hearts out.
3. Using the hot glue gun, carefully glue the hearts onto the black cord.
4. Hang the garland to add a nice pop of gold for your Valentine’s party!
