From Shannon: I love drinking warm coffee cocktails in the wintertime. My favorite is an Irish Coffee—so warm and comforting on a chilly Christmas morning, sipping it by the fireplace. I’m sharing two of my favorite coffee-cocktail recipes below: The first is for my favorite Irish Coffee, as well as another warm coffee drink spiked with Grand Marnier. They’ll warm you right up and both go well with any holiday cookies or treats you might have around! Hope you enjoy these, as well as the printable holiday-recipe card (above) that I created just for you.

Makes one drink
5 oz hot brewed coffee
1 tbsp whisky
1½ tbsp Irish cream liqueur (like Baileys)
Stir hot coffee, whisky, and Irish cream to combine. Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream.
If you haven’t tried it before, Grand Marnier is an orange-flavored cognac liqueur. It’s sweet and very flavorful, with a lovely citrus fragrance I enjoy. It’s also a wonderful ingredient to bake and cook with—I like baking bundt cakes spiked with Grand Marnier or use it to roast duck.
Grand Marnier Coffee
Makes one drink
4 oz hot brewed coffee
1 tbsp Irish cream liqueur (like Baileys)
1 tbsp Grand Marnier orange liqueur
Stir hot coffee, Irish cream, and Grand Marnier to combine. Pour into a glass and garnish with a citrus rind (optional) and/or lots of whipped cream (if you’re anything like me!).
