We held our second Makers Night at The Little Owl – The Venue in New York City last week. Our project du jour was similar to our last Makers Night at the Goat Farm in Atlanta, where we made inspiration boards with Minted frames and fabric, but this one was geared toward making the boards for displaying incoming holiday cards.
We had over 40 crafters on hand and they took the styling of the boards very seriously!

All the decor was Berry Kraft by Angela Marzuki.
We made a Christmas tree out of Minted fabric and embroidery hoops for a nice visual focal point for the evening.
We also used runners (ripped to fit and folded over) to add some color to the table.
Our new Minted fabric is just so lovely in person!
Don’t the frames look awesome in the window with our new felt ball garlands?
Colene Blanchet of Yeah Papers, at left, has fun posing with an empty frame.
On offer were a delicious assortment of various cheeses and fruit.
Festive cocktails in green and red colors were served.
And then people got down to board making!
Vané Broussard from Brooklyn Bride, right, was our fearless leader and this is her awesome, modern creation.
Lots of Minted cards and ornaments were laid out in trays for guests to decorate their boards with.
Kirby Lee Smith shows off pretty Minted holiday cards, including our new Booklette card, on her completed board.
Here, Bee Kim from Hello Bee adds some depth by pinning ornaments to her board.
And here we have the tree styled with boards below!
