DIY: Cotton Candy Thank-You Card Printable

Written by Olivia Kanaley

Showing your gratitude is even sweeter when it takes the shape of this fairground favorite. Even though the party’s over you can still treat your guests to one more surprise when your thank-you note hits their mailbox. With our printable template, you can craft up this unique cotton-candy card from a just a few simple materials you probably have already.

You will need:

  • Our template printed on cardstock
  • Piece of white cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Fiber fill or cotton ball
  • Pencil or pen
  • #10 envelope

Step 1: Cut out cotton candy shapes from the printed template using scissors.

Step 2: If desired, write a personal message on the blank, back piece.

Step 3: Carefully apply glue around the edges of the wrong side of one of the cotton candy shapes, leaving the bottom section unglued.  Sandwich the pieces together, right sides out. Wipe away an excess glue and place under a heavy object to dry.

Step 4: Roll the sheet of white paper into a cone and secure with glue. Trim the cone with scissors so that it is about 4″ long.

Step 5: Gently stuff the cotton candy shape with fiber fill to give it some dimension.

Step 6: Glue the cone inside the cotton candy shape. These fit will fit in a #10 envelope — you can hand deliver or mail with standard postage, just be sure to ask your post office to hand-cancel so that your card does not get flattened.
