cotton candy cloud cake topper

By Melanie of You Are My Fave

When my friend’s five-year-old daughter requested a weather theme for her birthday party, I jumped at the chance to help throw it. Clouds became the main motif and my friend had the genius idea of using cotton candy to make a fluffy cake topper. It takes two supplies and about one minute to complete this tasty diy.

All you need is white cotton candy and lollipop sticks. Shape the cotton candy into clouds and position on top of the lollipop sticks, then add to the cake. That’s it! It’s so easy all of your future cakes might get the cumulus treatment.

This is the cutest! I just got a cotton candy maker for my birthday, so I’ll have to try it out. Thanks!
