colorful favor bag toppers

By Melanie of You Are My Fave

January is seriously the pits. So I decided that today’s tutorial needed a dose of happy and these colorful toppers are just that. Use the final product for a party or pop them in the mail to a friend who you’ve been meaning to thank. It will make their day.

thank you (seriously) pdf download
– scissors or paper cutter
– clear bags
– stapler
– filler (choose something sunny, like lemon drops)

For the display board (optional)
– foam core
– fabric or paper
– hot glue gun
– clothes pins

Step one: If you’re making the display board, cover your piece of foam core with fabric, pulling tight around the back. Secure to the back with tape. Hot glue clothes pins on, far enough apart to accomodate the bags.

Step two: Print the pdf and trim down to the fit your bags. You can even just use it for a thank you note.

Step three:
Fill bags with candy, fold over the top, and attach paper topper with staples.

Step four: Clip to display board or deliver to friends as is.

Thank you seriously January, for already being half way through.
