Winter Whites.

This time of year, it’s easy to get carried away when decorating for the holidays. I’ve been trying to keep it simple and chic, like this dark green wall as a backdrop to glamorous white and silver ornaments and props from Elle Interiör via Emmas Designblogg. Keeping to a minimal color palette with pops of fun accents allows the room to be striking and modern yet still making it festive and fun! Here are a few of my favorite holiday decor ideas for making the end of the year quite merry.
This DIY Advent Calendar from The Merry Thought is the perfect, functional solution for apartments and small spaces that may not accommodate a full sized Christmas tree. Using simple household items like matchboxes for the white ornaments and one Christmas tree branch that you could surely pick up from a neighbor or friend, this project is a breeze to create and makes for a beautiful holiday vignette.
The styling of this vintage shipping box is one of my favorite examples of decorate during the holidays – creating an instant mini holiday-themed collection that can be placed throughout your home. In this case, using white candles mixed with evergreen branches and antique vases and bottles make for interesting textures and levels and would be a lovely alternative centerpiece display.
This all-white home via Mokkasin is so clean, modern and beautiful. The simplicity of it all makes the smallest touches so special, including the simply decorated Christmas tree and natural evergreen garland along the fireplace mantel.
And I will never tire of using cloches, like this one via Les Tissus Colbert, to bring attention to special decorations around the home. Paired with mini trees and fun white stencils, your home will look holiday chic in no time.
