Inspired by the colorful changing leaves of the season, I created a paper photo booth backdrop that would be perfect for a seasonal party. I’m thinking one with a pie spread and some wassail for good measure.

I used an adorable cow print as both a decorative focal point and a pin the tail game for my son’s second birthday. To create the perfect paper complement, I crafted “cow tails” from basic twine and paper drink tags. Check out this easy step-by-step for details on how to make them.1 COMMENT

There are things that immediately make us think of our favorite times of the year. Wreaths are one of those for me. When the wreaths start to make an appearance at our household, it can only mean one of my favorite times of the year, Fall. So when thinking of a great escort card for this season, mini twig wreaths seemed like the only answer.
With a quick walk around your backyard or neighborhood and a glue gun, you will have yourself a set of some fabulous escort or place cards. Grab your bridesmaids and read on for instructions!1 COMMENT
By: Jenny Batt, of Hank + Hunt Perfect for any dinner party, but exceptionally fun for Halloween, these decorated candles are made in minutes with washi tape. It’s a great way to dress up your standard taper candle and it comes right off to change your designs. The options for pattern and color are endless, but I love the look of gold on black taper candles. They pair well with vintage brass candle sticks and would look lovely at any party this season.4 COMMENTS

Susan’s “New Little One” really lets the customer’s photo shine. Her wide, white background frames the photo nicely, while her minimal but playful text adds just the right amount of New Year cheer. Lovely!

My little guy adores everything cows, so when it came to designing his second birthday, I knew cows would be a dominant element…But, instead of going the direction of country cow, I took a bright, bold direction and opted for a more modern, or “Mod Cow” theme. Check out the post for more on how I styled it, along with details that made it special…12 COMMENTS

I don’t think I knew that store bought Halloween costumes existed as a child. My mom would somehow find away to whip up our costume requests, often tirelessly the night before. While I didn’t inherit her sewing skills, I know how to wield a hot glue gun and with that skill made this easy gnome costume. Trust me, the craft level to create this is beginner at most.4 COMMENTS
