Let It Snow Treat Jars

By Melanie Blodgett of You Are My Fav

Tis the season where you need to have a supply of gifts on hand for friends and neighbors. I tend to go with a treat since it’s universally appealing and fairly inexpensive. Here’s a cute way to house such a treat.

Read the full how-to after the jump …

• Glass bottles (I used these French square ones)
• Flocked vinyl
• Hole punch
• Clear window decal sheets (bought at an office supply store)
• Filler

Step one: Print out the Let it Snow template (or image of your choice) onto your window decal sheets and set aside.

Step two: Punch several dots out of your vinyl and put in a pile.

Step three: Peel off the backside of your vinyl dots and adhere all around the jar, leaving space for the decal.

Step four: Trim the decal to size and apply carefully trying not to touch the back with your fingers since it will smudge.

Step five: Fill with treats such as popcorn, granola, nuts or chocolates.

The good thing about these jars is that the dots and decal are easily removable so they can be reused for several purposes. Happy packaging!
