April! Tis the Time to Recycle!

There are a lot of things to like about April. For one, the weather gets nicer and winter blues go away. Even when April showers do come along, you know they will bring May flowers. You get to start out the month playing clever pranks on people. (Didn’t you love Google’s clever play with Helvetica?) It is the month to gorge yourself with Peeps and chocolate bunnies (and participate in a Peeps diorama contest if you’re so inclined). April is also the month Minted celebrates its anniversary! Just when you thought April couldn’t get more awesome, we’re reminded that April is also Earth Month!

We are all paper lovers here at Minted, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be eco-friendly. Minted offers the option to print all your favorite invitation and stationery designs on 100% recycled paper, so you never have to sacrifice on style. Are you a bride to be? Shop Minted’s eco-friendly wedding invitations for a wide ranging assortment of unique designs. Are you expecting a newborn soon? Show off your new arrival with eco-friendly baby announcements or baby shower invitations.

But there is another way to be eco-friendly.  Minted is completely obsessed with recycled DIY projects! Case in point: Minted’s wonderful backers that are available on most stationery products like calendars, personalized stationery, and save the dates can be repurposed into all sorts of new things like birthday collages and adorable ornaments. We are just itching to know what your favorite DIY projects and ideas are! Show us how paper lovers can embrace Earth Month by letting us know about your favorite DIY paper projects and we’ll feature a round-up of the most creative projects in another post next week!
