Hey guys! I feel like this design is missing something when it comes to the type, but the design is so busy on the edges, that anything I add seems to be too much. Am I missing something to take this to the next level? Thanks!

your flowers are GORGEOUS! I agree the type needs a little something - I think it can be a simple tweak, like adding in one font - maybe making 'born' and / or the date in a different font; that will help make the name and date stand apart too; just my thoughts - but gorgeous, gorgeous illustration!

This is lovely! I think maybe it could be missing some texture - maybe add some very subtle burlap or cross-stitch texture or shading to the edges and background to make the overall feel more organic.

Have you tried "born" as a simple but slightly weighty serif font? I wonder if that would anchor is more?
