loving the colors and the layout. something about the s+s isn't quite right yet - perhaps some pilot wings like they use to give out to kids when they fly. what a fun idea for a destination wedding!

Thank you! I was hoping the S+S would look more like an airline logo (like on a boarding pass) but I'm still struggling with it (maybe it's the font?). Also, I changed the layout from A7 landscape to 6x6 because it just seemed "off" to me and even though it doesn't have the same layout as a real boarding pass anymore, I think the look and feel is still there but let me know what you think of the changes!

The gate and flight number do not fit on the front page. If you are going to have them than mention what it means. Paid flight? Discount flight, etc.......The other thing is why the bar code?

The invitation is a loose take on a boarding pass. The S&S at the top is meant to look like an airline logo you'd see on a boarding pass. The letter for the gate is the initial of the last name of the couple getting married (Ex: last name Anderson, initial A). The flight number is the year they're getting married (Ex: 2012, flight number 12). A barcode is also seen on a boarding pass and the numbers underneath are the date of the wedding, the time and the couple's last name. The invitation is not meant to look like a literal boarding pass and is just something that's unique and different for a couple having a destination wedding.

I wish I would've had a destination wedding so I could've used this. I immediately noticed the barcode and thought it was so clever. Keep up the good work, Caitlin :)

I get it -and like it- now that you explain the meanings behind some of the elements. Good job!
