comments from grace:

This victorian inspired invitation is classy and timeless. The bold modern color mixed with the delicate flourish design is a great way to make the old new.

the ornate frame and the colors are beautiful. I can't get past the giant date though - I suggest and more classic approach for the text.

i agree with design lotus that the date is distracting. maybe for a save the date but for the invitation itself it just overpowers all of the other text. if anything, i could see emphasizing the names, but even still i think that might be too large if the names too the place of the date. i also wonder if you might introduce some contrasting color, or maybe just another purple hue? the thumbnail makes it look like you've got dark purple and lavender, but then the full-size image reveals that it's all one solid color.

I agree with both posts. The frame is realy beautiful and doesn' need competition. I think I would prefer a more clasic font nd color to gel with the design. Black on white or cream would give it a classic paper-cut art look too.
