I was torn between this basket colorway and blue denim. Any thoughts?

Very well executed. I love the picnic idea.

I like the basket colourway, gives a nice uniqueness to the design. Not to crazy about the oval shape, looks static right now.

i like the colorway and the overall feel. the oval is a little egg-y to me, especially with the colorway. i also think that you could give your edges a little room to breathe--right now, the oval takes up a lot of your page. i'm not sure you need the flourish in the middle, especially if you experiment a bit with adding some more interest to your type--i feel like rosewood fill would work really well integrated into this design. overall, though, i think it captures the style you were going for--nice work!

thanks for the suggestions! I agree about the egg-y-ness of the oval. So, I updated the shape. Also, updated type styles, but felt like the flourish is needed for the turn of the century feel.

I love the typography. I think every time you step away from the oval - it starts to remind me of a jar/wine label. That's not a bad thing, but I'm with Jackie on the oval. =)
