I decided to get rid of the green detail on the elephant. I like it better as a silhouette and think it adds to the theme of white elephant, not knowing what kind of gift you'll get.

This is really cool. I think the heavy modelling on the gifts is too contrasting to the 2D elephant and the rest of the design; the elephant looks like its floating. Maybe tone those down to look more like cut outs to fit the style of everything else?

I agree with Becky on the contrast. I think it would be great to see more detail in the elephant though. I LOVE the background texture - maybe you can bring some of that into the elephant? Also, totally weird, but "Gift Party" feels like it's falling to me. Not sure if rotating that whole block of type to the right a little bit might help, and it might totally be just me, but thought I'd mention it.

Love! Only thing I would change is the text under the elephant's leg, it could be a lil bit bigger. Great idea! The presents look great!!

Thanks for your comments. I modified the boxes and ribbon colors to just solid colors instead of gradients. Rotated the text at the top a bit to the right. Added some details to the elephant. Not sure I like this version of the elephant though. I think I may prefer it just as an outline, what do you think? Also, enlarged the date and time a tad. Thanks again for your help Becky Nimoy, Shari Margolin and Jackie!
