About the Design

comments from Amelia:

The inspiration for this destination wedding came from the Frangipani flower that is used in Hawaiian Leis. The white lei flowers would also be a great contrast on different colored backgrounds (e.g. deep ocean blue, chocolate brown, folliage green or charcoal grey).

I like the design, i just feel a Hawaiian invitation should be a little brighter, maybe a lighter green. Nice Design!

I would play more with the flowers. They seem a little to placed/static. Maybe run them off the top of the card. The typeface and background color could be a little more playful.

Thanks for the feedback. This blue background is brighter and more interesting. I wanted to keep the font "clean and airy" so that it doesn't clutter up the design.

I think the colors are fine. I think the lei should be more implied than so literal in the layout. I might enlarge to flowers and loosely place/drape them across the bottom or in opposite corners.

Great advice everyone. I've changed the flower lei so that they don't look as static and made them more subtle on the page. Whatdoyouthink?

Like to see the blue colour more of aqua tone. The flowers are nice but lets's play it around the corner (bottom left and top right) and change up the size cause it still looks static.

New layout and more of an aqua blue for the background.
