comments from janette:

I wanted to use trees into their design, b/c of their annual tree lighting. I think that's so neat and it's something special to them.

I love the color scheme of this one, and it goes great with the photo. The text at the top is a bit hard to read and maybe you might want to think about having all the stripes in the piece going the same way. Also, the trees and snowlakes at the bottom look a bit stretched out, but it could just be me. Overall I really like it!

I like the colors too, but There are a few details I would fix, however. I think you can afford to make ‘Merry Christmas’ larger. Also, do you see where the ‘e’ connects to the ‘r’ in Merry? There is a little gap. The scripted letters should connect to each other seamlessly. It might also look better to have ‘Merry Christmas’ and ‘from our trees…’ set on the same baseline, and I would also move them up so the descenders are not touching the photo. One last thing, I agree that the trees and snowflakes look stretched vertically.

I like the stripes, but I feel like it gets a little busy with everything over them. Their names also look a little stretched, but I like the overall colors and idea of the design.

I think it looks great, I dont see the "stretched" feeling being talked about, maybe someone should upgrade their computer monitor or something. I agree with Patty, it IS cozy! Cozy @ Christmas time, is what everyone is shooting for. Couldnt be more perfect!!!! Way to go!!!
