Beautiful colors and I like the idea, but the illustration needs to be cleaned up. What is it docked to? Is that a shipmast?

The gondola is roped to one of the poles/dock that they have in Venice. An example is seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/piersidephotographicarts/545155868/ I left the illustration a little "unperfect" to give a 60s opening movie credit vibe or a look like early Penguin books covers but if moves from "whimsy" into "messy" I'll definitely clean up the curves and edges.

so what about people who don't have anything to do with Italy? seems like you have limited a lot of people from buying this.

(Sorry if this shows up twice- I wrote it the first time when I wasn't logged in and it disappeared) In the contest descriptions both couples cited Italy as a big part of their wedding ceremony. I know everyone doesn't go to Italy or have Italian influences in their wedding but I think enough people do travel abroad and for those people something specific available that carries their memories of the trip is more special than only having generic choices.
