Hi Marnie - welcome to the minted community - it is a great place to learn and grow :) Your design is very sweet, and your car is adorable. I'm still leaning myself, but a couple comments I can share (and sorry that this is after the editing round has closed, but hope it might be helpful anyway): I think you could give your copy on the inside a little more breathing room -- maybe remove the lines on the sides and the light blue and dark boxes, and just let the copy be open on the page. On the cover, I would make the 'license tag' a bit larger, so you can see the copy, and maybe even make the date numbers, so it reads like a license tag :) You have a great piece, and I hope you find the feedback on Minted to be positive and constructive as I have. It's been a great experience for me. :) Good luck!

I agree with the great advice that snickerdoodles gave you and just want to add that whenever you have a decorative font like the one you're using for the just born and lucas, I would use a simpler font like a sans serif in a slightly different weight [something to play with] to counter it. You want the decorative font to stand out not compete with the other type. I'd also try eliminating some of the heavy black rules around your photo box and type box. They feel like they are pulling me away instead of into your piece. Good luck and hope this helps!
