Based on everyone's comments, here's a few more variations on the darker background theme. I like them all, but would love to hear what you gravitate toward. Thank, sorry to drive everyone crazy.

Thanks so much for everyone's input!! I really appreciate all of your feedback. After WAY too much debating, I darkened the original background and tweak a few of the colors to come up with this final version. Also love the violet and charcoal versions and would use them as alternates if I am so fortunate to get a pick.

While putting away an old calendar today, I got inspired to create this design. This is a little out of my comfort zone, so feel free to send comments my way!

Keep! I love the color palette. And I think it's good to bounce around in different styles. :)

I love the movement you've created with all of the flowers. I don't think you need curls on the border of the photo. Very pretty either way though. Must be something in the air, I thought about drawing some flowers today too!

Beautiful, Carol! The Peoni fits your florals perfectly. I agree with Jessica about not needing those swashes on the frame. I'd love to see it with a thinner frame around the photo or, maybe, no frame - just to see what it looks like. The frame feels a little heavy to me. Best of luck to you!

Very pretty Carol! Very fun and different. Love the colors and those curlies on the frame. Well done :)

Based on Kim's thoughtful comments, [remove curlies, thinner border, no border] attached are variations on the design. What do you think about this little girl now? BTW, I saw the curlies as little tiaras, silly as that may sound...

Hey, Carol! I actually like the version with no border - I think it just needs a darker background color for everything to pop. It's lovely either way! Best of luck!

Hi Carol, I like it with border, I agree that it needs it to pop, unless you change the background to white and the white flowers to the current background color, then you may be able to lose the circle and let the photo stand alone. I like the curlycue on top only, better without the one on the bottom I think. Hope this is helpful.

I like this dark one too :), I think I might even go a tad darker on the grey so it really really pops.

My preference is the darker background, but I'd see what others think. I trust Stacey's opinion for sure, and agree that maybe a little darker would be even better. But, if she and others prefer the lighter with border, fee free to ignore me! :)

love the darker colors!! I like the magenta or the gray for the submission. I get that you used the squiggly for a crown but I think it could still go without it...seems slightly out of place with the style of flowers. really love this!

Love all the color options- I think they all work. I thimk I prefer the no frame, it's a little softer to me :)

I think grey and a bit darker would look really beautiful. Would love to see it in white, as Stacey suggested, too!

I think I like the color palette you have posted... very soft and pretty. Although the purple is gorgeous too.
