I love your design. I am not moved by what you wrote. The sentence that begins with "There is beauty even in death if you choose to find it..." sounds a little judgmental for someone grieving. This is fine for a discussion of philosophy on death, but I feel that when one is grieving, it is raw, and overwhelming. The statement sounds like you are telling someone how they should feel. Does that make sense? I think you are on the right track though.
Barbara - Yuke didn't write the copy. It was from the first round submissions - which I wrote. I'm sorry you found it offensive. I'm a bereavement advocate and have lost five children. I write these words passionately and from the heart knowing that there truly is beauty and love in the midst of loss. There is light in the darkness. Just as the seeds of a dandelion are caught in the wind and planted as new life afar. I hope others are able to see that too. I don't ask someone to feel a certain way - rather to look at the beauty in the world around them to find comfort in their loss.
CONGRATULATIONS YUKE LI!!!! I'm so grateful for your time and talent to bring these words to life. I pray that they bring comfort to many.
I stumbled upon your design and realized it was my text! Thanks for taking the time to create an entry. I like A or B. Maybe another little dandelion seed on the interior as well?
