Do you think the heading should be in Silver Foil or is the background too subtle? Any other feedback also greatly appreciated.

I originally thought this design would be lovely in Silver Foil but I'm not sure if the background is distinct enough for that or if it best left in black?

A for me ;) i like the depth the black text gives - such a cute duck!

I would try a version with silver foil. I could imagine it makes it more delicate. You can start a poll with the two versions and see what the community thinks. Beautiful illustration and script! Only thought: I would make the font size in text block with the information a little smaller, so it does not distract from the script and cute duck.

I think the heading looks perfect as it is. No foiling is needed. But I would work much more on the text underneath. First of all I would choose a more delicate font and I would change it's alignment to center and I would distinguish the date and place and important information more. Also not sure about that harsh line at the bottom. Other than that, love the concept. Good luck. :)

I don't think you need the foil for this design. Your little duckling is so sweet, but I feel like the blue is over powering him. I would love to see a version with just the duckling paired with some soft colors for the text, maybe sample some shades from the illlustration. And agree with Linda on playing more with info text.

Love the watercolor treatment to the top. The blue on the bottom seems very heavy compared to the style of the duckling. I would suggest a version that doesn't include the flood of bottom blue. Maybe instead increase the size of the duck and place one or two subtle blue splashes around his feet to tie it into what's on top. As for your question on foil – I'm not sure adding foil is appropriate for the casual style of this invite.

Beautiful design. I would put a stroke on the script text Love Madeline etc. Also, I would put a softer line to replace the black one. Best of luck to you Elizabeth! Beautiful colors!

I agree I would lighten the blue at the bottom so there's more of a balance, and remove the black line at the top of the blue. I don't think foil goes with the style. Also it feels a little crowded, maybe make the header a touch smaller to give it some breathing room.
