what a great color palette. Not easy to blend pinks and reds with yellow and not have it look like Ronald McDonald is coming over! Very beautiful. I would love to see a few prints with individual flowers. Are you thinking of that?

Thank you for the kind words, ladies! Kate, great thought about painting individual flowers. I've been interested in painting Dahlia's individually recently. I did this little painting last spring and thought it would be fun to paint at least one peony painting every year, since their bloom time is so brief. It's a good excuse to sit and stare at them :). Maybe nest year I should do some single flowers....
