comments from Andrea:

my design style is a combination of clean, classic and modern. this save the date is a simple and elegant way to invite guests to celebrate laurice and alex's wedding, highlighting their photo but also including the important event information. this design is extremely versatile for a wide range of wedding clients. i believe simple is key with this design. the couple's first names and an accent wedding color work well with any black & white photo.

Simple yet elegant... Not cluttered and overpowering like many of the other designers. Would definitely pursue this style for my wedding!!!

The simplicity here makes the design easily customizable unlike others that are over-designed.

this looks kind of like a table calendar.

This save the date has timeless written all over it. In twenty years, this couple will look at this invitation and be brought back to this happy moment instantly. Superbly Done.

simply classic. fresh and very usable design. smart font choices with an open, clean spacing that makes this my top pick from this contest. could easily see this being the choice of many as their save the date.

This one is really great. Anyone would love to have this as their save the date.

I like the clean-cut simplicity of this one. The fonts work well also.

Simple and clean and all about the couple, as it should be.

Usually a Save-The-Date will have the day of the month. It is not very useful or informative to as a Save-The-Month card. I like the clean layout here, but I think it needs to have MM | DD | YY (or whatever the convention is). The text would need to be adjusted accordingly.

i agree about the date and looked over the other designs. alot of them don't have the full date, but i definately think this one can be easily altered to accommodate any couple's complete info. overall, i love the clean look and type treatment of the names!

The simplicity is astounding. The hint of color perfectly complements the B&W picture. Well done!

Placement is completely and throughly thought out. Typography is flawless. Minimalism at it's best.
