Tough call …D feels like the bird is quite high on a taller branch, and the centered birds feel like they are lower and in more of a shrub …isn't it crazy how much you can read into a crop :) I went with D – beautiful!

Such a beautiful cardinal. I like the negative space and simplicity. :) Good luck.

I love the contrast of the bird against the white background. It really catches your eye!

I enjoy the composition. It's well balanced. The slightly negative vibrancy of the cardinal matches the muted grey background implying a cloudy, snowy day. Well done!

I love the contrast and the simplicity. The only thing I might consider is trying it without the branch in front of the bird's tail. Can you move it behind it?

The red pops nicely. The twig over the tail is a distractor for me.

I agree, I don't care for the twig over the tail.

I agree with the others about the twig, maybe place it behind?

I love the colors. Have you tried moving the bird a little more towards one corner? Maybe down to the right?

I agree with Christopher, the twig over the tail is a bit distracting. I love love love the rich colors of the bird.

I almost want to see the bird in a little bit more of a scene. I liove the simplicity but maybe just a few more varied branches to help add small depth.
