I love the layout and the color combination. The design in the 2017 seems a bit busy. It distracts a little from the photo. My eye keep jumping to the 2017 instead of the gorgeous graduate.

I love the "2017"! What if the name and school were set on photo instead of on a tint bar so that there were fewer things competing for attention?

Great design Claudia. I love the die cut your color choices, red with green and gold.

So pretty! I think the name and date are a competing a bit. Perhaps swap the font for the name for something a touch more subtle?

I agree with the comments below, I think that putting the name in the same sans serif as the rest would achieve a better balance with the lovely date above. In addition, it could get complicated if the name of the graduate is longer or has a lot of letters with descenders. That typeface is meant to be seen large and in charge! Good luck :)

probably changing the font for the name would look better. Same with font use in CLASS OF perhaps?

Hmmmm...wondering how it might look with 2017 smaller? The watercolor design already gives it heirarchy.

Hi Claudia, I agree with Jay Anne, the name seems to compete with the year so maybe try other fonts? You can choose up to 4 and run a poll if you have time. :)

hi claudia....i think your card is perfect.... the only thing that might make it "pop" is changing the shape of your card to a rectangle...your design is so fun i feel the die-cut distracts......such fun ,,,happy colors...good luck to you from me:)

I love the year! Let it be the star! I would make the name a simple sans serif font so it doesn't compete with the lovely year.

Hi Cladia, I agree with trying a simple rectangle shape! Also, maybe try a deeper shade of the green you are using in the text in place of the hot pink. I would keep the texture of the hot pink, just change the color to a slightly darker shade of green and see how that looks!
