I really love this idea. The venn diagram reminds me of wedding rings overlapping and is perfect! I would be interested in seeing a white background except for the overlapping portion of the venn diagram which could remain that gray/blue color. The Save the Date text may be interesting in the rose-gold foil and then the date and names in that gray/blue color. I love the design but would like it even more with a more contemporary, clean-cut font.

I love the overlapping circles but I'm not sure you need the heart in the center. I agree with Melanie to try a more modern typeface as well - or tie into the brushed feel of the circle in the type somewhere.
